ODM/OEM Collaboration Process
Phase 1: Requirement Confirmation and Feasibility Assessment
- Customer Requirement Confirmation: Conduct an initial discussion with the customer to thoroughly understand their specific requirements, including load capacity, control type, running speed, environmental conditions, etc.
- Feasibility Assessment: Evaluate project feasibility based on customer specifications and our technical capabilities, considering design limitations, functional requirements, and potential challenge in manufacturing the electric actuator.
Phase 2: Design Planning and Prototype Development
- Product Proposal: Develop and present a detailed product design plan that aligns with customer requirements. This includes structural design, operating principles (e.g., motor selection, drive system, control system), and preliminary technical specifications.
- Design and Prototype Development: Create an initial design and develop a prototype. This phase involves designing the enclosure, motor components, gearing, and packaging. The prototype is then submitted for customer review.
Phase 3: Customer Review and Sample Testing
- Customer Review: Present the prototype and design documentation to the customer for evaluation. Gather feedback and implement necessary modifications.
- Sample Testing: Conduct various tests on the prototype, including operational performance, endurance environmental capability tests (such as waterproof, dustproof, anti-corrosion, temperature, humidity, etc.), and load test, ensuring the electric actuator meets customer requirements and industry standards.
Phase 4: Final Design Approval and Contract Signing
- Final Design Approval: Incorporate customer feedback, finalize the design, and confirm key specifications such as dimensions, power requirements, control interfaces, and electrical/mechanical connections.
- Contract Signing / Order Confirmation: Establish a formal agreement, detailing the production plan, delivery schedule, and after-sales support commitments.
Phase 5: Production Manufacturing and Quality Control
- Production and Assembly: Initiate mass production, ensuring precision and consistency in assembling all components.
- Quality Assurance: Initiate mass production, ensuring precision and consistency in assembling all components. This includes material selection, processing, assembly and final testing, ensuring the stability and reliability of the electric actuator under various working conditions.
Phase 6: Delivery & After-Sales Support
- Packaging and Shipping: Securely package the completed electric actuator to prevent transit damage and ensure on-time delivery.
- After-Sales Service: Provide ongoing technical support and repair services, and offer customer training to facilitate proper usage and troubleshooting.
